TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR OF OUR SCHOOL
Mandama at the Victorian State Schools Spectacular (VSSS)
'The annual Victorian State Schools Spectacular (VSSS) program is an invaluable performing arts opportunity for Victoria’s government primary and secondary school students.
The program showcases and unites government school communities through working towards a common goal of more students reaching the highest level of achievement in the arts, ensuring kids are happy, healthy and resilient, and building pride in our schools.' - www.vic.gov.au
At Mandama Primary School, we value and invest in this unique opportunity by providing weekly practice sessions in the dance component of the VSSS performance. . These sessions encourage the students to organise their time while supporting the development of their interpersonal skills as well as their confidence and resilience.
After three terms of regular practise, and four external excursions to collaborate with other Victorian schools, two live performances, involving thousands of students from across the State, takes place in the John Cain Arena, Melbourne.
This truly is an opportunity of a lifetime and one that Mandama Primary School is proud to support.
