Visual Art at MandamaThe Visual Arts program at Mandama Primary School is a vibrant, inspiring and engaging environment for all students. The program strives to give students an opportunity to be original and brave and is highly regarded by students and the wider community.
In Visual Arts, students learn to:
Through the teaching of Visual Arts, the students at Mandama Primary School have the opportunity to develop their creative and expressive capacities by learning about the different practices, disciplines and traditions that have shaped the expression of culture locally, nationally and globally. At Mandama Primary School students participate in Visual Arts for 60 minutes a week, for 1 semester per year (alternating with Italian). Students also have the opportunity to attend lunchtime Art Club on a weekly basis, providing opportunities for students to further practice and develop different Visual Arts skills.
