OUR STORY
Mandama Primary School is a dynamic and exciting school in the expanding Geelong suburbs of Grovedale and Waurn Ponds area.
The schools caters for children from Prep to Year 6, with an enrolment of approximately 396 students. Mandama is located in near proximity to local pre-schools, post-primary schools and Deakin University. Initially established in 1979 in Mandama Avenue Grovedale, the present architecturally designed school was built in Corang Avenue during 1987 and is set in delightful landscaped gardens incorporating both active and passive play areas. Mandama provides outstanding educational facilities that encourage learning to take place in a supportive and caring environment. Mandama’s motto of ‘Learning for Life’ underpins our endeavours each day to prepare our students by offering a broad curriculum that caters for their individual learning needs, where personal best is valued and achievement is recognised. Mandama is proud to announce we have been a certified eSmart School since 2014! |
Learning for the Future!
Mandama has set it sights on developing a strong technology education program, which has seen a major modernisation in recent years. Technology including; remote controlled robots (dash and sphero), interactive LEGO building and coding programs and Minecraft Education lessons are just some of the fields of STEM learning on offer here at Mandama.
iPad Program
- Currently the school has set up a 1 to 1 iPad program from years 3-6 (with years 3-6 being part of our 'bring your own device program')
- From year prep-2, students are able to share class sets of iPads.
